Miss Faafafine Pageant 2023 was held on the 24 July 2023 at Kiwi-Pacific Factory One (Hoppers Crossing).

For our Pacific Islander LGBTQIA+ community, this marks the first ticketed event initiated and organised by the PacifiqueX committee and committee of the newly established ‘Miss Faafafine Victoria’ who will be looking forward to hosting and using this platform to select a representative to compete in the ‘Samoa Faafafine Association’ (SFA) annual pageant held in Apia, Samoa – a representation that will help strengthen relationships with our diaspora queer community and fa’afafine community in Samoa; with hopes to further expand our pageant platform to run a similar pageant for our other Pacific Island diaspora communities (eg. Tonga, Cook Islands & Fiji) at a later stage.
